Free Toys for Shelter Animals
Go Go Dog Toys has a mission to provide free toys to as many shelter animals as possible. By partnering with Fire Departments we are able to work together to make this happen.
Partnering with Fire departments to make free toys for shelt
For every 100ft of donated fire hose we are able to create 4 free toys to be donated to a shelter of the fire department's choosing
Barren Hill Volunteer Fire Company donated 1,000 feet of fire hose (pictured to the left) that was no longer fit for service. It is being made into toys for a dog shelter near them.
The hoses are thoroughly cleaned through a multistep process free from harsh chemicals. A before and after comparison can be seen here.
Pictured to the right is the inner layer of a double jacketed 1.75" fire hose. This inner layer is lined with rubber which makes the hose very durable but also very time consuming to shape and sew.
The final product is created and distributed to the shelter chosen by the donating fire department at no cost to the shelter or the fire department
